Hot Halibut Dip Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb.  – Seasoned, cooked Halibut
  • 1 Jalapeno chopped
  • 1 cup – Mayo
  • 1/4 cup – Parmesan
  • 1 brick – Cream Cheese
  • 2 cups – Cheddar or Jack Cheese
  • 1/2 cup – Chopped Artichoke Hearts
  • (optional green) onions sliced

Directions

Season halibut (with blackening seasoning OR seasoned salt OR old bay OR salt and pepper…this part is fool proof). Bake halibut in oven or on stove in a skillet until flaky. Chop or shred above while baking and flake fish. Combine all ingredients (minus any fish skin) to an oven safe dish and bake at 350 for 20 minutes until bubbly. Mix a time or two while baking and serve prior to cheese oils separating for best presentation. Serve with tortilla chips or warm bread!

Notes

Freshly Shredded Cheese is ideal. Crockpots often make this oily but still delish. Alternative ingredients: Cilantro, canned Jalapeños, Parsley, Dill…really make it yours!
