AK Salmon Sliders Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups spooned Salmon meat (sockeye shown) 
  • 1/2c. Panko + 1/2c. Bread crumbs (any flavor) 
  • 2T. Dijon Mustard + 1t. Garlic Breath @Alaska Salt Co.
  • 2 eggs + dash of Slap yo’ Mama (or Old Bay) 
  • 2T. Lemon juice + Salt & Pepper to preference
  • 4T. finely minced Onion (any kind will do) 1-2t. Olive Oil for binding 

Extras:

  • dash of Garlic Powder, minced Chives
  • Frying pan & oil to 1/2 height of cake 

Sauce:

  • 1c. Sour Cream
  • 1/3 c. chopped Dill
  • 1t. of Garlic breath (or Garlic salt)

Directions

Step 1: Following the bone structure, Spoon (off) the residual salmon meat from your catch! Drain while spooning into a strainer and heat cooking oil on medium-high.

Step 2: Mix with the ingredients listed above and spoon 2-3T. into your hand & shape into small bite sized cakes.

Step 3: Fry about 3 minutes each side until golden brown. (Make Sauce while frying). Rest 1 min. on paper towel to absorb any oil.

Step 4: Dip into dill sauce and enjoy!
